    As our full-time Health & Safety Office based in our Brampton office, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe operations and fostering a positive work environment.


    Job ResponsibilitiesMonitor & enforce health and safety compliance of workers, contractors, and sub-contractorsCommunicate & coordinate with clients, General Contractors, sub-contractors & owners as neededPromptly responds to & investigates complaints & concerns of workers/employees and takes appropriate actionConducts thorough investigations & provides written reports of accidents, injuries & incidents that occur in the workplaceAssist with site safety plans, pre-job hazard assessments, incident investigations and risk assessments, as requiredEnsure that all accidents, incidents, and injuries are properly reported & documented to all appropriate partiesFacilitate and participate in site inspections, documentation and developing corrective action as requiredMaintain and prepare thorough documentation and reports – including contractor proof of training/certification and contractor equipment maintenanceParticipate in emergency response and mock-rescue drills as requiredAdminister First Aid and manage associated documentation, as necessarySet up Health & Safety job boards & provide necessary safety information at new job sitesConduct regular toolbox talks on the various job sites to promote safety awarenessVisit all job sites on a regular basis including travel to our Kingston office & job sites.

    Accommodations & travel allowance providedEnsure that all emergency equipment and products are available, in correct locations and maintained properlyCoordinate and support the site in the sourcing and supply of Health & Safety related products and services as needed (dependent on specific job requirements)Maintain and continue to update project(s) MSDS/SDS documents in accordance with current legislationFollow up with applicable Health & Safety Training, tracking, and administering any potential in-house training sessions required for internal employees (WHMIS, Worker Awareness, On-Boarding, etc.).

    Participates in Health & Safety initiatives and proactively monitors and reviews as neededPrepares various reports, documents & formsAdditional tasks as required

    QualificationConstruction experience is preferred.2-3 years of Health & Safety experienceStrong written & verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    Excellent interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
