Pic De Jour:
These are the cliffs at Big Sur, north of LA. When Heather was just pregnant with our first child, we went on a trip
to California. We landed in LA, but only stayed there a few days because there were wildfires burning all around the city and we found Hollywood, where we were staying, kind of creepy. So we drove up the cost to San Francisco, which is a much nicer city.
We took our time going up the coast and had dinner at a restaurant in Big Sur which was perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific. It was amazing that you could go from massive urban sprawl to almost prehistoric in the space of just a couple hours.
There were eagles flying everywhere and the sunset over the Pacific was astounding.
