INTRUDERS We worship idols Of silver and gold We measure our worth By the slaves we own We learn to hate All the things we should love We revere the vulture And we kill the dove We build great machines That spew poison here and there We create wonderous lies And dead bodies everywhere And we do all of this Without regret or fear For we are nothing more Than Intruders here But the carth has a soul And the carth feels the pain And slowly but surely It’s correcting again Because up against nature We are frail and we're small Our arrogance will turn us Into nothing at all And until we finally learn To end the greed and the fear We'll continue to be just Intruders here } pe 3 / » Dirty Hymns COPYRIGHT 2023, JIM MURRAY MURMARKETING
