Album Review - Graceland

I have always been a Paul Simon fan.
The guy writes really intelligent
songs anbd is a good singer too.

But with Graceland he had really
outdone himself to create one of the
great modern albums.

This was an experiment, to some
extent, to combine his modern
American musical sensibilities with
the joyful noise of African voices.

So he went to Africa and worked
with a group called Ladysmith Black
Mombazo and African musicians.

And it worked and created one of
those very rare magical albums.

There's not a weak note here and 36
years after its release in 19886, it's
still amazing.
