Five lessons about the way we treat people Lesson 4

Five lessons about the way we treat people Lesson 4

Once upon a time, there was a King who decided to spice up his kingdom's roads with a giant boulder. It wasn't for aesthetic reasons, mind you, but more of a "let's see what happens" royal experiment. So, he slyly hid in the bushes, munching on royal popcorn, waiting for the drama to unfold.

In strolled the high-and-mighty merchants and courtiers, the Kardashian equivalents of the ancient kingdom. Did they confront the colossal rock? Nope! They skillfully tiptoed around it, loudly complaining about the state of the roads as if the King moonlighted as a highway maintenance guy.

Then came our hero – a humble peasant, dragging a cartload of veggies like the kingdom's green superhero. Unfazed by the absurdity of the situation, our peasant friend dropped his load and decided to play an ancient forklift operator with the boulder. Grunting, groaning, and with a sprinkle of farmer finesse, he managed to shove the thing aside.

Lo and behold, where the boulder once ruled, a purse emerged – not your run-of-the-mill purse, mind you, but one filled with golden treasures and a note from the King himself. It read, "Dear Boulder Mover, here's your well-deserved bling for clearing the royal traffic hazard. You rock!"

And so, the peasant discovered a timeless truth that most of us miss while complaining about life's inconveniences. Every roadblock is a sneaky opportunity in disguise, like a surprise package from the universe waiting to be unwrapped. So, the next time life throws a boulder in your path, grab it like a peasant on a mission – who knows, there might be a royal purse waiting just around the bend!
