Physical Intelligence - Day 82

I wanted to look and learn more about bone health today and I actually got way more than I bargained for.  What seemed like a basic fact finding mission led to discovering a video by Dr.John Bergman, and I learned way more than I could have conceived from his video.

The video is 45 minutes long and it does way more than just talking about bone, Dr.Bergman opens the window to health marketing practices and health advice that few us would think to question.  He has a great line running through the video, he says :

"Is it Ignorance or Is it Evil?"

With a few marketing practices his exposition of medical marketing leans towards evil, but his main point is actually the high degree of ignorance we are subject to, which lead us to actions that can have the complete opposite effect to the health outcomes claimed.  He explained the system wide connections such as acid and alkaline levels in the body that can change bone health outcomes.  His conclusion is the same one I have about modern marketing, that the advice we get from pharmaceutical and medical communities keeps us in the dark ages.  I will have to listen to this video again because it is packed with insights I would never have thought about, let alone question :
