Six short stories

Story 1: Once, all villagers decided to pray for rain. On the day of prayer, all the people gathered in the center of the village. The priest looked over the gathering crowd and noticed that although everyone in the village was there ready to pray only one boy came with protection against the rain. That's FAITH.

Story 2: When you throw babies in the air, they laugh. It is fun, exciting and a new strange sensation. But they also know you will catch them. That's TRUST.

Story 3: Every night we go to bed. When you go to bed, do you have any assurance that you will wake up in the morning? I think not, most of us go to bed at night, without any assurance of being alive the next morning. How many of you set your alarms to wake you up, I know I do? That's HOPE.

Story 4: I am planning on a big trip soon. I think most of us plan big things for tomorrow in spite of zero knowledge of the future. That's CONFIDENCE.

Story 5: The world around us can be a terrible mess, we see the world suffering but still we get married and have children. That's LOVE.

Story 6: On my friend Bob’s T-shirt he has written, “I am not 80 years old; I am sweet 16 with 64 years of experience.” That's ATTITUDE

I read the above on Time goes Bye and believe it is worth the few seconds it takes to read it. There was some editing done for clarity and to make the stories more meaningful. Enjoy
