    Job Summary

    Position: Tax Accountant
    Location: London, ON (Hybrid Work Environment - Two days per week in the office)
    Company Overview: If you are someone who loves to work on Canadian income tax accounting and compliance, this role is perfect for you. You will focus on developing processes to ensure compliance with Canadian tax standards, preparing corporate income tax returns, and handling transfer pricing documentation. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, such as CRA and provincial tax authorities, to guarantee precise tax reporting and compliance.     Role Details:
    - Assist in ensuring compliance with Canadian income tax accounting standards
    - Prepare working papers for transfer pricing documentation with related parties
    - Complete Canadian corporate income tax returns and associated work papers
    - Generate Canadian tax provision workbooks for annual financial reporting
    - Compile budget figures related to income taxes, intercompany charges, and sales tax expenses
    - Conduct inter-company and corporate income tax accounts reconciliation
    - Prepare working papers for tax return preparation across different jurisdictions
    - Communicate with CRA and provincial tax authorities for accurate tax assessment
    - Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities to address audit inquiries
    - Collaborate with external Tax Advisors
    - Support potential merger and acquisition activities

    Requirements:
    - At least 3 years of accounting and corporate tax experience in a large corporation or public accounting firm
    - CPA designation is strongly preferred
    - Comprehensive knowledge of Canadian taxation laws and regulations
    - Experience in preparing corporate tax returns, income tax provisions, and transfer pricing documentation
    - Proficiency in common computer applications and accounting/tax-related programs
