    Description

    Your Opportunity:

    • If you're ready to advance your career or gain leadership experience in a new field, the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute has an exciting opportunity for you as a Unit Manager. In this role, you'll report to the Patient Care Manager and oversee high-quality patient care for the Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL), EP Labs (EP), Device Clinic, and Cardiac Sciences Holding and Recovery (CSHR). Join a supportive leadership team where you'll manage resources and lead in Interventional Cardiology & Electrophysiology.

    Description:

    • The chosen candidate will coordinate daily clinical activities, provide guidance to the team, assign procedures, manage staff scheduling, oversee equipment & supplies, support staff development, and resolve patient and staff issues. Collaboration with various teams is crucial for continuous process improvement and maintaining quality care. Effective communication with both the team and the Patient Care Manager is essential for a positive and cohesive work environment.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Current CRNA registration and BCLS certification.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Leadership experience, especially within EP Labs and/or Cardiac Cath Labs, is desirable. Proficiency in technology, Human Resources Business Partnerships, and Finance is an advantage.
