    Be part of our Information & Technology (I&T) team, a critical piece of the engine that keeps us in motion.

    From enterprise architecture to operational technology, our teams use the agile methodology to automate and digitize our railroad ensuring our operations run optimally and safely and our employees can focus on value-added tasks.

    The product management role is within the HR application portfolio. Currently, the HR function is looking to undertake a Human Capital Management (HCM) transformation with SAP SuccessFactors. The HR Product manager will work closely with the business representatives to align system capabilities with business vision.

    The Product Manager will also manage the prioritization of enhancements and defects on the existing SAP landscape as well as the integration with any new third-party vendors.

    The role of Expert, Product Manager translates business requirements into formal product roadmaps and works closely with the Business and I&T stakeholders to operationalize these roadmaps for initial development and evolution of the product.

    Work with the Business to capture, identify and develop a pipeline of product opportunities and innovative ideas

    • Works in close collaboration with the product owners in Business and I&T delivery teams to operationalize the development and evolution of product roadmaps while respecting architecture and governance guidelines
    • Manages intake for both projects and enhancements
    • Drive the 3-5 year product vision and strategy for human resource products and paint a clear path on how to get there
    • Prioritize product development activities to ensure alignment to both the business and technology strategies

    • Work with a cross-functional team to develop a comprehensive and bold digital growth vision, strategy, roadmap, and set key business objectives for the product
    • Leverage product knowledge, and growth drivers, as well as customer insights and analytics to prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for product's digital journey
    • Ensure project and enhancement teams deliver product features based on requirements and release scope
    10-15 years overall work experience

    • 3+ years knowledge and experience with designing SAP ECC 6.Experience with HCM Security an asset
    • Demonstrated experience in engaging senior leaders and other stakeholders to support business decisions
    • Experience in shaping, building, scaling and sustaining products
    • Any experience for these above would be considered an asset
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or business administration or equivalent degree and experience

    • Master's degree in engineering or administration would be an asset
    • Business acumen, and the ability to communicate with executives, business domain stakeholders and technical staff alike
    • Effective planning and organizational skills
    • Excellent analytical and technical skills
    • Ability to develop a product vision and execute to make that vision a reality, with a passion for building great products
    Technical Skills/Knowledge

    • Experience with the implementation of a Human Capital Management system, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors or other
    • Experience with supporting a Human Capital Management system, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors or other
    • Experienced in requirements analysis and definition
