    Description

    Fulltime – Permanent

    Bolloré Logistics is looking to add a full-time Customs Agent to its team in Toronto, ON We are looking for a dynamic individual to kick start their career in logistics.

    Responsibilities:

    The successful candidate will clear client shipments and ensure merchandise is delivered. Respond to clients' inquiries regarding customs clearance and follow up.

    Responsibilities:

    • Preparation, customs clearance, and classification of air, ocean, and ground shipments.
    • Ensure costs related to the file are indicated on the billing document.
    • Ensure the delivery of merchandise.
    • Comply with the laws and regulations of the different governments and the ISO standards set out by the company.
    • Resource person for clients regarding customs procedures.
    • Communicate with different stakeholders in an effort to offer superior service.
    • Present innovative solutions to clients.
    • Comply with Bollore's established procedures within required time limits, including ISO norms.
    • Communicate, without delay, information or problems, to the immediate supervisor.
    • Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

    Requirements

    · 2-3 years of relevant post-secondary education or experience.

    · Ability to provide exceptional customer service to clients

    · Excellent organization skills and be a proactive problem solver

    · Ability to manage own time and priorities workload to meet internal and external expectations

    · Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

    · Good interpersonal and teamworking skills required

    · Knowledge of French an asset

    · Knowledge of the Food Industry an asset
