    The Bilingual Business Analyst leads working sessions to gather and documents business requirements needed by the stakeholders to solve the business problem or to achieve the objective.The employeewill work autonomously and work in collaboration with the senior executives of the company and other key stakeholders to develop comprehensive requirements. They are expected to ask questions and make suggestions to project stakeholders that will result in the development of high quality, high-value strategic solutions.The development of comprehensive business requirements, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, ensure the solutions designed meet said requirements are key facets of this position.

    Responsabilities
  • Develop Business Analysis plan to manage BA activities that includes task sequencing, duration, and dependencies.
  • Plan, prepare and conduct effective elicitation sessions with business and IT stakeholders
  • Determine business requirements, develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process flow models, use cases, and screen mock-ups.
  • Lead requirements working sessions for complex projects with stakeholders to draw out the business needs and to ensure requirements are aligned with the business objectives.
  • Manage requirements elicitation sessions to keep the conversation relevant.
  • Liaise between the business and IT to ensure all stakeholders understand the requirements.
  • Validate that the proposed solutions meet the business requirements.
  • Perform requirements tracing to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Review UAT plan and test cases to ensure all functional requirements have been covered
  • Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support by conducting business impact and root cause analysis on issues encountered during UAT
  • Review the solution and develop transition requirements that are needed for the business to implement said solution
  • Communicate regularly with project manager on the status of BA tasks.
  • Develop and maintain a constructive relationship with a network of key stakeholders to provide excellent BA services on current and future initiatives.
  • Recommend innovative business solutions that satisfy sponsor and stakeholder needs
  • Assist the project manager in the preparation of the implementation plan.
  • Support the business' post-implementation system verification tasks and business validation testing.
  • Provide post-implementation support to the business users, responsible for impact and root cause analysis of issues and defects.
    • Qualifications
  • University Degree in either Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems related field and at least 2 years of business analysis experience; or
  • College Diploma in either Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems related field and at least 4 years of business analysis experience
  • Bilingualism in English and French is a must (oral and written)
  • At least 2 years of business analysis experience in the Banking Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis best practices and methodology in accordance with the Business Analysis Book of Knowledge.
  • Experienced working in a Waterfall, Hybrid and Agile environment
  • Practitioner of the Agile methodology
  • Experienced in creating User Stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional ability to reconstruct problems and recommend timely solutions.
  • A strong, knowledgeable individual who is confident and can work under pressure.
  • Ability to lead and manage requirement working sessions and stakeholders to keep the conversations relevant.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Aptitude for identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending sound solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (oral and written) with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Positive attitude and Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using Confluence and Jira
  • Excellent skills with MS Visio, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Proficient in MS Project or a similar project management tool
