Your role

Join our team as a Senior Project Manager with the Southern Ontario team, based out of the GTHA.

In this role, you will join our team of experts who lead major capital building and infrastructure projects. As a Senior

Project Manager, you will lead and oversee project delivery teams to lead their successful development, and that client and company needs are met throughout the projects.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager who has experience in large complex projects, in Higher Education (University or College), with a strong focus on collaborative delivery methodologies, sustainability and innovation. Having a background in complex facilities within the education sector is highly beneficial to be able to work seamlessly with our clients

Responsibilities

Leadership: Demonstrate company values and cultural behaviours Lead multiple project delivery teams Establish, foster, and grow client and professional relationships, acting as a Trusted AdvisorLead the implementation of training and tools in support of service deliveryDelegate and empower project delivery teams Build a personal brand

Growth: Grow sales annually through leadership and industry knowledgeCollaborate with National Directors and Leaders outside the Business Unit to identify and pursue opportunitiesFind opportunities for cross sellingLead technical input for proposals

Management: Oversee project delivery team performance Account managementBe responsible for high performing teams both from a performance perspective as well as a professional practice perspective. Escalate project delivery issues to Professional Practice

Quality: Accountable to ensure that all work on your projects is delivered in accordance with our Quality Management System Accountable for Client Satisfaction Create a culture of quality

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience leading project management mandates of varying size and scope, involving multiple stakeholders

Experience in successful pursuits of new business, winning key pursuits and mentoring new employees

A technical university degree or diploma in the construction industry field, along with credentials in business administration is considered a strong asset

Professional industry credentials such as PMP, or similar industry-recognized designation is considered a strong asset

Knowledge of various types of construction methodologies, project management models, financial management, contract law and relevant legislation

Excellent organizational and analytical skills

Broad written and verbal communication skill set including strong presentation, stakeholder facilitation and report and writing skills

Effective client, stakeholder and people management skills

Excellent speaking and presentation skills for clients and all levels of governance

Ability to influence others and successfully resolve a variety of commercial, people, client and technical issues

Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills to interact with clients, colleagues and external industry subject matter experts
