    The WealthOne team is in need of a highly skilled Pega UI Developer for the Pega Upgrade and upcoming Pega projects

    Story Behind the NeedBusiness group:
    GWMS - Digital Client Services is collaborating with the Wealth Management team to implement and digitize information for the Optical Character Recognition project

    Typical Day in Role:


    Collaborate with the development team, business analysts, and businesses to capture the screens of Pega UI Resolve any UI challenges encountered during the Pega upgrade.

    Engage with the Pega Vendor to find solutions for the Pega UI Collaborate with business analysts and end users to grasp project requirements and translate them into Pega UI designs.


    Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

    • Over 10 years of proven experience as a Pega UI developer with strong proficiency in Pega UI technologies including PRPC, Pega UI framework, and Pega Designer Studio.
    • More than 8 years of experience in designing, solutions, and building user-friendly and responsive UI applications with Pega Cosmos and Pega user interface.
    • Experience of over 5 years in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles. Familiarity with Angular and React technologies is advantageous.
    • Working knowledge of UX design principles and best practices for more than 5 years. Integrate best practices into current PEGA development processes and work based on brand guidelines. Customize and enhance existing Pega UI components to meet specific project requirements with meticulous attention to detail to match the exact UX wireframe.
    • Experience of over 5 years in working with accessibility guidelines and implementing applications conforming to AODA, AMA, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 AA.
    • Over 3 years of experience conducting usability testing on focus groups to deliver the optimal user experience

    Nice-To-Have Skills:

    • Knowledge of banking and insurance domains is preferred.
    • Participation in Agile software development sprints and sprint planning activities with comprehensive working knowledge in Application Development Life Cycle phases like requirement analysis, implementation, and estimation of projects and roadmap

    Soft Skills Required:

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to operate effectively in a team setting.
    • Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to collaborate successfully with technical peers and business stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
    • Decisive, forward-thinking, and inventive problem-solving skills to predict and promptly respond to technological/market influences.
    • Ability to function as part of a team, as well as independently or with minimal guidance

    Education:

    • A post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related IT field is mandatory

    Average Candidate:

    • An individual who fulfills all the essential requirements and possesses Experience in working in agile software development methodologies, including Scrum/Kanban
    • Previous experience in the banking sector – a candidate familiar with the process with a minimal learning curve
    • Collaborative and self-directedCandidate Evaluation & Selection:1 round – MS Teams Video Interview – 30-60 minutes – with HM and Technical Panel
    • Evaluation based on background and experience, anecdotes from prior roles, and technical inquiries related to the Pega UI technologies – No technical assessment.
