Wage Benefits :

Role Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated Invasive Species Technician to play a crucial role in our Terrestrial Invasive Species Program. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing field data collection and weed control efforts, ensuring the effective management of invasive species. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining partnerships with municipalities, counties, and NGOs, contributing to the success of our biocontrol initiatives.
As a Weed Management Crew Lead, you will lead weed inventory fieldwork, coordinate weed control measures, and provide valuable training on weed identification. Proficiency in tools like EDDMapS will be essential as you manage data entry, conduct quality assurance, and analyze trends to contribute to the Annual Terrestrial Invasive Species Program Report. Your role extends beyond technical aspects, involving collaboration with local stakeholders, governments, and the public to address issues related to terrestrial invasive species.
This position holds significance for public land users, influencing the improvement of recreation experiences by controlling invasive weeds.
