Description

As the successful candidate, you will:

Review contractors' work for conformance with contract documents.
Maintain project documentation.
Advise the Contract Administrator on Contractors' method(s) of construction and progress.
Handle Change Order(s), daily construction photos, and other required documentation.
Review Contractors' compliance with Health and Safety practices.
Participate in the review of submittals.
Maintain Submittals, RFI and coordinate with engineering team for inputs.
Have good technical writing skills along with a good command of the English language in both written and verbal capacities.

You will bring to the role:

Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated working experience on construction sites preferably with rail corridors and transit facilities experience. P.Eng. or OAA or C.E.T designation, or Accredited Architectural or Building Technologist, licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario. Experience in construction administration and review to ensure adherence to contract documents, plans, and specifications. Conduct field inspections of engineering designs. Ability to carry out all quality assurance and quality control functions to confirm contractor's adherence to the construction contract documents.
