    Plains Midstream Canada (PMC) is an industry-leading transportation and midstream provider specializing in transportation, storage, processing and marketing solutions for crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs).

    PMC also operates strategically-located facilities for crude oil and NGL storage, separates NGL from natural gas and fractionates NGL into pure liquid petroleum gas (LPG) products, including propane and butane.

    Plains is seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Specialist, NGL Assets Finance.

    You will require a minimum of 7 years' experience to be successful in this role, which reports to the Manager, Asset Services.

    You will be responsible for leading the budgeting and planning, financial, and performance reporting for Plains' facilities business segment. This is a hybrid position, combining work at our Calgary office with working from home.

    Lead budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycle for the facilities business segment.
    Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and performance reporting per internal and external requirements.
    Establish key performance metrics, estimates, and assumptions for use in facilities models.
    Create and present various budget and business performance data to senior management.
    Explain the facilities business financials in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders and senior management.
    Make recommendations to various business groups and senior management to optimize assets or seize opportunities where possible.
    Lead internal controls processes and information gathering for internal and external auditors.
    Understand commercial agreements and commitments to facilitate administration.
    University degree in accounting or finance (CPA or CFA designation preferred)
    ~RightAngle and Oracle Fusion experience a strong asset
    ~ Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills—must possess advanced Excel
