  • Insurance Defence Law ClerkPermanentToronto, ONTARIOJOB-1499 Responsible for the maintenance of document briefs and files Preparation and completion of file summaries Review and preparation of files for mediations and discoveries Preparation of motion materials Drafting of Pleadings Experience with trials and arbitrations (summons, witnesses, preparation of notices of intention and requests to admit, preparation of trial briefs Responsible for the follow-up of undertakings The successful candidate will have: Excellent organizational, drafting and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Keen attention to detail Knowledge of Statutory Accident Benefit schedule and LAT Working knowledge of the Rules of Civil procedure A generous compensation package is being offered
