Chanda Chilanga

My name is Chanda, also known as CeeCee. My passion for the storytelling power of fashion has allowed me to build a robust career in Canadian fashion spanning more than 8 years. I started my fashion career in luxury fashion retail management, where beyond managing multi-million dollar departments I had the opportunity to create and style fashion content for multiple social media channels as well as e-commerce styling. Upon leaving the retail world I dived into personal styling with expertise in crafting captivating looks that seamlessly blend unique style, impeccable craftsmanship, and the latest trends. 

I then expanded my styling into TV and Film. My portfolio includes commercial styling for renowned brands like Moosehead Breweries, Scotiabank and Ikea as well as Wardrobe Styling on shows such as The Great Canadian Baking Show and Battle of the Generations among others. I am an award-nominated Costume Designer, my work can be seen in the critically acclaimed CBC show Revenge of the Black Best Friend and my credits extend to scripted TV on shows like The Hardy Boys, Pretty Hard Cases, Working Moms and others.

My work has graced red carpets at prestigious events like the Canadian Screen Awards and TIFF. In addition, I share my expertise regularly on various Canadian daytime and primetime lifestyle shows as an On-air Style Expert combining practical style advice with my passion for Canadian fashion while collaborating with both local designers and multinational fashion brands that align with my values.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of styling numerous celebrities, including the likes of Lilly Singh, NFL players Marc Methot and Kyle Turris, NBA player Kyle Lowry, Emmy-nominated Canadian filmmaker and director Hubert Davis, and celebrated Canadian actresses Karen Robinson, Humberely Gonzalez, Lisa Berry, and Tamara Podemski, among others.

In addition to commerce work, I currently run Dapper Style Mint, a fashion styling agency where I merge my business acumen and creative skills. I enjoy developing creative concepts, managing budgets and timelines, and working with multiple creatives such as agencies, photographers and makeup artists all while bringing brands to life through striking visual creations.
