- Schedule and confirm carrier pick-ups
- Direct truck drivers to warehouse doors for shipment pick-up
- Confirm orders in LX ERP and file orders
- Create Bills of Lading and Customs paperwork using LX ERP
- Fax paperwork to carriers and Customs Office
- Prepare/Pick-up outgoing mail/FedEx as required
- Complete receiving paperwork
- Log intercompany freight in the designated file
- Communicate order status and/or shortages with Customer Service Coordinators (CSCs)
- Expedite all responses and communications to CSCs and the Sales team
- Ensure CSCs requests and inquiries are directed to appropriate person
- Participate in information exchange with other departments as necessary
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Provide back-up support as required
- Present issues in a professional manner
- Assist with Warehouse planning activities
- Adhere to 5S, HACCP and Safety rules
- Must follow food safety and cGMP processes and procedures – training is provided
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic, which is demonstrated in your past behaviours

Job Title: Shipping Coordinator Department: Warehouse
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Shipping Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support in the Shipping office. The secondary responsibilities include driving the forklift in the Warehouse when the Warehouse Supervisor requires additional support or to cover staffing shortages on shift.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Educational Requirements: Post-secondary education, preferably in a warehouse, supply chain or logistics related field
Minimum Experience/Field: Minimum 2 years of in a fast paced, high volume lean manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Computer Skills: Good PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and strong excel skills
Communication Skills: Proven track record working with people in a collaborative and respectful manner and adept at problem resolution and working well with a team
Additional Education/Experience/Skills: D etail-orientation with a bias for action and proven ability to deliver results.
