- Create high-quality AAA assets, which could include hard surface and organic props or buildings.
- Collaborate daily with the Art Director, Environment Director and Concept Team.
- Work with the Environment Director and Technical Art team to establish toolsets and pipelines.
- Work with our Technical Art team to ensure all assets are optimized for target platforms.
- Ensure that all assets are consistent with defined visual style of the game.
- 3+ Years Experience with a focus on Environment Art.
- Experience at intermediate or senior level role on at least 1 shipped console/PC title.
- High competency in 3D modeling, materials/surfacing software packages such as Maya, Zbrush and the Substance Suite.
- Production experience with modern real-time game engines such as Unreal, Unity, CryEngine.
- Excellent knowledge of how to manage and create content for games
- A degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Visual Design, or related diploma or certificate.
- Experience with Project Management tools (Shotgrid, Jira, Confluence).
- Proficient in the creation of high-quality stylized, PBR-based, environment assets.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
o $95,450 - $141,800 USD Annually
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
o $89,200 - $141,800 USD Annually
• Jersey City, NJ :
o $105,250 - $141,800 USD Annually
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
o $89,200 - $118,550 USD Annually
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
o $89,200 - $130,750 USD Annually
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
o $77,600 - $119,000 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time. In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and after 3 months of service - extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
