Business Development Manager**Opportunity to develop, lead and enhance EPIC's sales strategy and team.
[Are you looking for a flexible environment, where you can work remotely most of the time, an environment where nobody watches the clock, but you get measured on the results of your work? We offer a primarily remote environment with lots of autonomy in how you make things happen. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager. This new role will be instrumental in establishing our sales function from the ground up, including developing sales processes, pipelines, strategies, and eventually building and leading a sales team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success in creating and executing sales initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of sales for our company, drive revenue growth, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with broader business objectives.
Play a key role in leveraging our CRM system to:Enhance data visibility
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market reach.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify target markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities.
Development & Management of
Sales Processes:
Build and maintain sales pipelines, leveraging data-driven insights to prioritize leads and opportunities.
Lead the optimization of HubSpot CRM to streamline sales processes and enhance pipeline visibility.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure sales effectiveness and performance.
Client Relationship Management:
Provide coaching and training to the team to enhance client relationship management.
Team Collaboration and Training:
Provide sales training, guidance, and support to internal teams as needed.
Collaborate closely with marketing and training programs teams to align sales efforts with broader business objectives.
Market Analysis and
Industry Insight:
~ Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or related roles
Proactive/willingness to take initiative, and ability to take direction well
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive informed decision-making
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and market dynamics
Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot or similar)
Management/leadership experience
Previous experience in education/training industry
Bilingual English-French
