As the Director of Supply Chain Operations, your responsibilities will encompass overseeing daily operations, optimizing processes, enhancing quality, and managing personnel.     Responsibilities on a Typical Day:
    • Implement and maintain quality management system procedures
    • Supervise productivity and safety standards aligned with company requirements
    • Establish and uphold operational processes
    • Generate performance reports and propose operational enhancements
    • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff efficiently, taking corrective actions when needed
    • Provide guidance and leadership to managers and supervisors
    • Drive site objectives in financial performance, safety, quality, and customer service
    • Ensure timely submission of key reports
    • Coordinate site activities to accomplish objectives effectively

    Requirements for Success at GXO:

    Minimum qualifications:
    • 7 years of management experience in supply chain or distribution
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scanner equipment
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime

    Preferred qualifications:
    • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
    • Leadership experience in Third-party Logistics (3PL)
    • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
    • Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement
    • Experience in AS9100 or ISO environment
    • Strong employee engagement and retention skills
    • Demonstrated ability to build an inclusive workforce and foster a culture of belonging
    • Knowledge of financial accounting and human resources practices
