    Description

    Job Title: Operations Manager at GES

    Looking for an Operations Manager to lead and direct all operational areas within GES business, ensuring financial objectives are met while delivering high-quality products and services. Join our team and be part of a dynamic and growth-oriented company.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage Operations employees, including Show-site Operations Managers and Warehouse Supervisor
    • Lead Graphics Production areas
    • Collaborate with senior leadership on budget planning and operational efficiencies
    • Participate in performance review processes and implement necessary performance management
    • Plan and execute training and succession plans for key staff
    • Recruit and hire within the area of responsibility
    • Conduct regular department meetings and oversee department budget
    • Participate in financial planning, analyze data, and drive forecasting responsibilities
    • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures
    • Institutionalize health & safety policies and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
    • Work with other department leaders to promote teamwork
    • Complete all duties as assigned by the General Manager

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred, ideally in Business, Management, Finance, or Marketing
    • 5+ Years' experience in related industries (Exhibitor, Show Organizer, Vendor, or Contractor)
    • Solid P&L and operations experience with a focus on managing costs and improving profitability
    • Experience in managing union contracts and disputes
    • Familiarity with operational areas in exhibitions & events business
    • Knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices
    • Experience in budgeting and financial planning
    • Strong organizational and project management skills

    Work Environment:

    • Flexible work schedule based on business needs
    • Travel required
    • Combination of office and show-site work
