Description
The Senior Project Manager (PM) manages project management by delivering various projects within the Environmental Services Division.Operating in a diverse and competitive environment, this position will manage projects from start to finish, ensuring safe, effective operations with a client-centred focus.
Projects will be completed within required guidelines according to schedule, contract specifications, timelines, and budgets to drive successful outcomes for continued growth and success.
Work within larger projects while providing strategic planning aligned with organizational goals and objectives.Makes critical project decisions.
Manage and prepare work plans, contractor bidding documents, proposal requests, and contractor procurement.
Management, control, forecast, and monitor all project costs. Monitor site progress against planned work.
Interfaces between different groups contributing to the project are correctly monitored and managed, including the management of subcontractors in the field.
All project risks are identified and adequately managed by owning and maintaining the risk register.The correct technical input is incorporated into all technical documentation and is approved by the leadership team (if required).
Establish and manage a system of recording, tracking, and progressing all project documentation using the project management software.Liaise with government and regulatory contacts to represent clients in their regulatory applications and submissions.
Support analyzing environment and regulatory risks and opportunities for new business considerations.
Participate in training events, project meetings, and team meetings.
Implement corporate and client safety programs.
Administrative duties, including claims, invoices, and all other paperwork, are done within timelines.
Other projects and assignments as required.
Completion of a Technical Diploma or University Degree in environmental science, engineering or a related discipline.
~ Other education may include business management, project management, or other related technical specialties.
~ Minimum 10 years of experience or more in project management-related experience, preferably in environment-related projects.
~8+ years of relevant regulatory and environmental consulting experience.
~ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
~ While effectively building relationships with key stakeholders.
~ Able to prioritize work and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic and productive team environment.
~ Proactive approach to problem-solving with a solid ability to take the initiative.
~ Proficiency in MS Office suite.
~ 126,700 - $144,800/Yr, your compensation will be based on your cumulative skills, education and work experience.
