    Purpose of Role: At Weir Motion Metrics we build cutting-edge AI solutions to improve safety and sustainability in the mining industry. Your role as a Product Manager is to define product strategies that align with our business objectives and communicate to stakeholders how it will deliver value for our customers. You will work with a team of Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and Sales Leaders to develop new products and features. A successful Product Manager is able to synthesize data and feedback from multiple sources to create concise user stories that accurately capture the underlying request. You will play an important role in making informed product decisions that will shape the future direction of our products.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus Area: Define product strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Focus Area: Communicate product vision and roadmap to key stakeholders.
  • Focus Area: Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams to deliver products and features that drive value for our customers.
  • Focus Area: Obtain and synthesize data and feedback from multiple sources to create concise user stories that accurately capture the underlying request.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

    • Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a technology company, especially a SaaS business.
  • Post-secondary education in business, engineering, technology, UI/UX or equivalent.
  • Experience in the mining or construction industry is a bonus.

    Compensation: C$90,000 to C$120,000
