    Description

    Position:
    Mechanical Draftman


    Status:
    Permanent, Full-Time St. Part of the Global R&D team to develop Correction products for Low and Medium Voltage Applications. You will work in Concurrent Engineering within the complete life cycle of the product. You will be reporting to the R&D Mechanical Manager to support Design and project activities related to your projects.

    Design & integrate enclosures for power electronic modules (Capacitor, Harmonic Filter, magnetic components, switching circuit & MCC, Active filtration) in accordance with mechanical integration related to Electrical Code (CSA, UL, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, IEC);
    Generate 3D and 2D detail and assembly drawings with BOM to support product design and maintenance for external and internal clients;
    Provide support to Application Engineering for Low and Medium Voltage power quality correction and system monitoring products.
    Support RFI-RFQ process, Project definition for product design related to customer Bid.
    Produce and control, production Engineering documentation in the PDM;
    Propose, improve and maintain the processes of design, documentation and release of electrical products;
    Write technical reports;
    Professional or industrial Mechanical Designer diploma or other equivalent field;
    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Mechanical CAD design;
    Experience in designing Electric products and serviceable products for buildings, an asset;
    Experience in reading and understanding Electrical Schematic drawings, an asset;
    Excellent knowledge of SolidWorks and the Configuration and Design Tables functions, a must;
    Knowledge of SolidWorks PDM, an asset;
    Knowledge of geometrical tolerances and dimensioning(GD&T, CTQ,), an asset;
    Knowledge of welded sheet metal design and manufacturing processes, a must;
    Language
    Fluency in English, spoken and written;
    Fluency in French, spoken and written, an asset.

    Nous sommes a la recherche de dessinateurs creatifs et pratiques pour agrandir notre equipe de R&D Global de produits de correction basse et moyenne tension.

    Vous allez travailler en ingenierie simultane a travers le cycle de vie complet des produits.

    Vous allez vous rapporter au Gestionnaire R&D Mecanique pour supporter la conception mecanique et les activites de projets relies a vos produits.

    Concevoir et integrer des boitiers et cabinets de produits pour des modules electroniques de puissance (Condensateur, Filtre Harmonique, composants magnetiques, circuit de commutation &MCC, Filtration Active) conformement a lintegration mecanique liee au Code Electrique (CSA, UL, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, IEC);
    Generer des dessins 3D et 2D de details et dassemblage avec liste de materiel pour supporter la conception et la maintenance des produits pour les clients interne et externe;

    Fournir un soutien a lingenierie dapplication pour les produits de correction de qualite de lalimentation basse et moyenne tension et lequipement detection de qualite de systemes.

    Soutenir le processus RFI-RFQ, definition de projet pour la conception de produit liee a loffre client.
    Rediger des rapports techniques;
    Diplome de concepteur professionnel ou industriel en mecanique ou dans un autre domaine equivalent;
    Minimum 3-5 ans dexperience en conception CAD mecanique;
    Excellente connaissance de SolidWorks et les fonctions Configuration et Design Table, un indispensable;
    Connaissance de SolidWorks PDM, un atout;
    Maitrise du francais, parle et ecrit, un atout.
