- Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
- Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)

- Hire and oversee National L&D Specialists, while working in close partnership with Regional leaders and L&D specialists

- Develop and maintain organizational communications such as the intranet to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
- Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.

- Contributes to the development and roll-out of Acera best practices across all business units
- Organizes and leads training for new partner integrations, in partnership with regional stakeholders
- Proven past experience in insurance as a Learning & Development leader

Job Summary
The Director, Learning & Development is responsible for improving the productivity of Acera's employees and ensuring that National Standards are upheld across the organization. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees.
