    Description

    The Monogastrics Territory Manager, Ontario / Manitoba plays a crucial role in representing the company to existing and potential customers, ensuring the sales of a variety of products aligning with the company's objectives and business strategies.

    Overview of responsibilities:

    Sales

    • Devise & implement sales strategies to optimize resources and drive results across various sales channels;
    • Engage with potential customers to boost product sales in their designated region;
    • Collaborate with the team to create sales tools that set the company apart in the market and cater to client requirements;
    • Schedule meetings with potential clients for product presentations;
    • Maintain customer database post-interactions for proper follow-up procedures;
    • Deliver post-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction;
    • Coordinate and leverage support from the Monogastric Technical team.

    Representing the Company

    • Regular product updates with Customers and Prospective customers independently and in coordination with Technical Support;
    • Stay updated on company products and industry offerings;
    • Act as the face of the company in various animal nutrition associations;
    • Manage booth logistics during company events;
    • Conduct training sessions and demonstrations for customers and prospects.
    Education / experience
    • Hold a BSc in Animal Science or a related field coupled with practical experience;
    • 5-10 years of experience in animal science and sales;
    • Established network within the Feed industry, veterinary field, and among producers in the sales territory;
    • Expertise in Monogastrics production, health, and nutrition.
    Technical skills
    • Familiarity with the global, Canadian and Local monogastric market;
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mac platforms; experience with SalesForce and Concur is advantageous;
    • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
    Specific position conditions
    • Being based in SW Ontario is a significant plus;
    • Travel within Ontario required at least 3 days per week;
    • Minimum 25% overnight travel to support the Ontario and Manitoba markets;
    • Occasional international travel may be necessary;
    • Travel arrangements are subject to an irregular schedule.
