Reporting to the Sr. Director, Ticket Sales & Service, this role will provide valuable hands-on experience in sales and
customer service for a championship professional sports organization, with opportunity to experience responsibilities in
multiple departments of the business and the chance to grow within the sports industry. The Account Executive, Ticket
Sales position will work exclusively to establish new leads and drive new business through ticket sales and customer service.

**About the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL)
A league created by Canadians for Canadians with a mission to develop Canadian players, coaches, sports executives, and
referees, the CEBL boasts the highest percentage of Canadian players of any pro league in the country with 71 percent of
its rosters being Canadian. TSN, Canada's sports leader, is the official broadcast partner of the league. Players bring
experience from the NBA, NBA G League, top international pro leagues, the Canadian National team program, and top
NCAA programs as well as U SPORTS. Nine players have moved from the CEBL into the NBA following a CEBL season.
The CEBL season runs from May through August.


Account Executive Ticket Sales Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):

  • Manage multiple accounts, developing positive working relationships with all customer/fan touch points (meetings,
  • Responsible for maximizing revenue through the sale of Brampton Honey Badgers ticket packages including
season memberships, flex packs, group and premium tickets.

  • Drive fan retention, upselling and fan satisfaction.
  • Oversee the implementation and fulfillment of team ticket requests.
  • Prepare campaign insights and reports including analysis and research with the purpose to develop future
leads.

  • Participate in community engagement and outreach events to promote awareness and build new business.
  • Develop new and creative ways to reach out to individuals, groups and companies for the purpose of driving
- ticket revenue for the Honey Badgers.

  • Provide input on new processes and workflows as needed and required by the Club.
  • Focus on ensuring the maintenance of superior customer/fan service levels, operational excellence and
- strategic insight.

  • Meet and exceed all ticketing targets as set by the organization's leadership team.
  • Work game days and special events to ensure ticketing information and access to tickets are available at all
- times.

  • Additional administrative and ticketing support as required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management, Business, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 13 years in customer service or account management.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a professional sales capacity is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
  • Archtics and Salesforce experience strongly preferred.

Required Skills:


  • A people person with a clear track record of building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • An understanding of the diverse Brampton market.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks with specific deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Google Suite, and key social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of the sport of basketball is an asset.

Availability:
Regular office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., however evening and weekend work will be required.


Compensation:


  • Base salary plus commission available.
