    Description

    Our client in the transport industry in Dorval is currently seeking a customer service representative to manage transportation requests, focusing primarily on interactions with truck drivers. This individual will be responsible for various tasks, such as order taking, processing orders end-to-end, and coordination.



    Key Details:

    - Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5PM
    - Full package of benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage

    - Salary range: $45,000-$47,000 depending on experience
    - Vacation time: 2-3 weeks

    Responsibilities:

    • Order processing using Transportation Management System (TMW Truckmate)
    • Monitor shipment progress to ensure full visibility throughout transit
    • Resolve issues promptly, such as missed pickups or late deliveries
    • Escalate unresolved issues efficiently
    • Collaborate with shippers and consignees to meet client requirements
    • Ensure timely updates through Client Portals
    • Co-operate with the Finance Department for billing cycles
    Requirements:

    • Minimum 1 year of Customer Service experience in companies like FedEx, Amazon, Purolator (preferred)
    • Demonstrate drive and competitiveness
    • Strong customer focus, empathy, and relationship-building skills
    • Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making
    • Ability to multitask effectively and perform under pressure
    • Fluency in French and English (oral and written) required
