    Job Summary

    This job description outlines the key responsibilities and requirements for the role of National Sales Manager specializing in sleep apnea medical devices. Successful candidates will possess a blend of sales leadership, industry knowledge, communication skills, and a customer-centric approach to drive sales growth and market expansion in the Canadian sleep apnea medical device market.

    This is a key position for the North American Market. The position reports to the Senior Director of Strategic Accounts and is to work in close coordination with the sales organization leadership and Clinical Sales Specialists as well as other field professionals to maximize sales opportunities.

    As the National Sales Manager, your primary function is to provide exceptional sales of Itamar's products across the country, market development and provide ongoing support to the product distribution channel. This is a rare opportunity to build a business across Canada from the ground up.

    Essential Functions

  • Lead sales efforts and market expansion initiatives within the sleep apnea medical device sector across Canada.
  • Spearhead sales strategies including managing a sales and clinical team.
  • Foster relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and key stakeholders in the sleep medicine field.
  • Work with Senior Leadership and the Health Economics Team to increase market access and secure reimbursement coverage of ZOLL Itamar products across all provinces.
  • Use strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer insights to implement strategic decision-making.
  • Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in sales management or healthcare are advantageous. Academic and collegiate leadership achievements are valued and will be considered. preferred
  • Proven track record of success in medical device sales, preferably in the field of sleep apnea diagnosis and treatment, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, management, or leadership role.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of sleep medicine, sleep disorders, and the diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea, as well as familiarity with relevant medical devices and equipment.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals, key stakeholders, and internal teams.
