    Our client is a renowned architectural firm committed to delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions. with over 30 years of history, they specialize in creating exceptional spaces that blend seamlessly with the natural environment while meeting the needs of our clients. As they expand operations in the stunning City of Victoria, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect to join their team.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

    As a Senior Architect/Principal, you will play a crucial role in shaping the built environment of Vancouver Island and some parts of the Lower Mainland in one of the most beautiful cities in British Columbia.

    With its breathtaking landscapes, ocean views, amazing hertigae and vibrant culture, Victoria provides the perfect backdrop for creating architectural masterpieces that integrate seamlessly with the natural surroundings.

    You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, and civic developments, contributing to the growth and enhancement of Vancouver Island's fabric.

    Responsibilities:
    • Design Excellence: Lead the design process and develop architectural concepts that embrace the beauty and uniqueness of Victoria's natural surroundings. Create sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing solutions that exceed client expectations.
    • Project Management: Oversee all phases of architectural projects, including planning, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
    • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including interior designers, engineers, and contractors, to integrate various design disciplines into cohesive and harmonious solutions.
    • Client Engagement: Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their vision and requirements, and translating them into exceptional architectural designs. Provide expert advice and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Mentorship and Leadership: Guide and mentor junior architects, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their professional growth. Lead by example, promoting a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration within the team.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Degree in Architecture, Master's In Architecture and hold a valid license to practice architecture in Canada
    • AIBC Registered
    • 8+ years of experience in architectural design and project management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects from concept to completion.
    • Strong portfolio of completed projects that highlight your ability to integrate natural elements, sustainability, and functionality in architectural design.
    • Proficient in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of sustainable design principles and building codes is essential.
    • Exhibit excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
    • Possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and precise documentation.
