    Department: Group Insurance Location: Open to candidates based in Ontario or Atlantic Canada Way of Work: Telework

    If you are a skilled negotiator with excellent communication and organization abilities, we want you to join our close-knit Group Insurance team as a Renewal Specialist/Account Manager.

    In this role you will oversee the production of financial statements for underwritten groups, accounting for statistical data, and depositing funds in line with internal guidelines. The primary goal of this role is to accurately evaluate group risks while providing exceptional service and meeting corporate objectives and deadlines.

    Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and pricing of group insurance renewals and modifications, ensuring alignment with business goals and accurate representation of our capabilities.
  • Participate in renewal presentations with clients and their advisors, leveraging strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to find pricing and product solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate efficient project management to execute renewals and fulfill client financial requests, ensuring adherence to our Service Protocol for maintaining long-term client and advisor relationships.
  • What We are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, business administration, actuarial, or finance, accompanied by 5 to 10 years of related experience in Group Insurance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Personal qualities critical to this role include independence, strong communication, organization, as well as excellent analytical and synthesizing skills.
  • What is Not Required but Would be an Asset:

  • Bilingual (French and English) skills
  • LLQP or GBA designation (or would be willing to obtain)
