    Description

    Intermediate/Senior Architectural Detailer ZO1 Ltd is a progressive architectural firm specializing in small to large-scale, high-density and multi-phase developments from concept design to construction completion.

    We are a group of passionate architects who has extensive design and development experience in the Greater Toronto Area.

    We are currently working on a wide range of projects from low to high-rise to large scale urban intensification development.

    Most of our projects are working directly with established developers in the Greater Toronto Area.

    Min 5 years' experience in architectural design focusing on production of architectural details such as plan/ section details in 1:10, 1:5, 1:2 and organizing wall/ floor/ ceiling types in Ontario/ GTA context.

    Experience and expertise particularly in high density residential, hotel / commercial projects design.

    • Successfully graduated of Architecture program, we support successful candidate to be OAA licenced but not essential for this position
    • Able to communicate concept by sketches and develop/ execute in Revit.
    • Understand wall/ ceiling types and building science on envelope and carry forward the elevation design and materials use to develop plan/ section details. Able to take the lead to develop SPA level design to Building permit drawings and tender drawings. Fully understand the architectural drawings impact due to other change.
    • Dedicated to meeting project deadlines
    • Able to manage a number of tasks on multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Able to produce sketches for plan/ section details to communicate the details how design brief/ intent, bylaws requirement and envelope building science are met
    • Understand roles of various consultants in a design development stage and before Building permit. Possess a working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code (OBC), Bylaws, client brief, and urban design principles and include the consideration in development of plan / section details
    • Proficient knowledge in the use of building materials and related construction techniques
    • Must be capable of working on multiple projects at on time.
    • Assist with applications for building permits
