    Description

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Manager of Finance, Properties. This role offers the chance to take full ownership of accounting, analysis, and budgeting for a portfolio of assigned properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent high standards of financial information at the property level.

    What you'll do:

    • Review and analyse monthly property financial statements and supporting working papers
    • Handle day-to-day accounting, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including financial statement preparation
    • Assist with preparation of summary reports and portfolio analysis
    • Responsible for the annual budget process for the properties
    • Liaise with auditor for the annual audit process
    • Participate in process improvement initiatives
    • Work closely with the asset management group to identify and resolve issues regarding any financial reporting
    • Review or prepare statement of adjustment and post-closing adjustment for acquisition/disposition of assets
    • Co-ordinate the integration of new properties into the workflow and reporting structure
    • Handle treasury functions for the portfolio i.e., renewal of BA, borrowing requirements and any funding requests

    What you bring:

    • A professional accountancy designation is preferred
    • Strong organisational and time management skills are essential
    • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills are required
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary
    • At least 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience is needed
    • Excellent proficiency with MS Excel, and strong skills with other MS software are required
