- Lead the accounting and financial reporting functions ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
- Manage general ledger, financial statements accuracy, and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Spearhead tax reporting, internal and external audits, and liaise with various business units to enhance financial risk controls.
- Drive continuous improvements in financial processes in collaboration with headquarters and shared services.
- Supervise and mentor a Financial Analyst, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on performance management and development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in financial accounting, including at least three years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in public accounting is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a capability to manage conflicts and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated professionalism with a knack for handling confidential information and a fast-paced work environment.
