- Supporting senior sales coverage with structuring, pricing and executing commodities transactions with existing clients in Oil and Gas
- Understanding commodities market fundamentals and trends and communicating information to clients
- Collect, manage and analyze data related to industry trends and client trading activity
- Produce commentary ranging from a variety of client e-mails to weekly and monthly strategy performance updates
- Developing content and generating trade ideas by liaising with trading teams and GIR
- Executing and booking of tactical/flow-based trades across the asset class
- Interacting with Credit, Legal and Ops teams internally to help enhance client experience and seamless trade execution
- Helping build new client relationships by working with internal teams to expand the business
- Supporting syndication efforts by working with trading and other sales teams to identify opportunities in offsetting risk management
- Working with strategist teams to assist with back-tests and strategy development on an as-needed basis
- Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong academic record with minimum Bachelor's degree
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving ability
- Background or knowledge of the commodity markets is a plus
- Understanding of power and gas market fundamentals and trends is a plus

The Global Commodities business within the Global Markets Division helps clients manage risk across a range of commodities products. Our clients include corporations, institutional investors/hedge funds, commodity trading houses and other financial institutions.
The NA Energy Sales team is looking for an analyst to join the business. The desk works to structure, price and execute derivative and physical oil and gas transactions to support client franchise activity across oil and gas markets for a range of corporate clients. The analyst will work closely with the senior salespeople and traders to support client activity (e.g. price and structure customer inquiries, work on marketing materials, onboard new clients). On a day-to-day basis, team members will be expected to deliver exceptional client relationship management, stay connected with market events across all commodities products markets, and work with the wider team to support and build the overall business.
