    Description
    Specialist, Operational Technology Application Services

    Position Purpose:

    As the Specialist for Operational Technology Services, you will report to the Manager and be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and security of critical Operations applications round the clock. You will play a key role in maintaining data integrity, system standards, and providing technological insights.

    Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
    • Oversee the daily operations of all corporate Operations Technology (OT) applications
    • Administer troubleshooting for all OT applications, including incident reporting and problem resolution
    • Design and configure OT Applications to meet business demands
    • Coordinate patching programs and application upgrades
    • Manage vendors and service providers for application enhancements and releases
    • Provide application outage triage and collaborate on issue resolution
    • Participate in disaster recovery testing and support IT teams
    • Adhere to corporate policies and procedures

    Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
    • Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
    • SCADA knowledge and experience required
    • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Suite and operating systems
    • Strong project management and problem-solving skills

    Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Operations Applications

    Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
    • Demonstrated passion as a subject matter expert in Operations Applications
    • Industry awareness and strong project management skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
