    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Actalent is hiring a FPGA Design Engineer for our client - A leading technology company working on telecommunications solutions.

    The role:

    We are looking for a FPGA Designer to be part of a brand new project. The team will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a new technology for addressing the demands of the 5G Radio subsystem market evolution. The candidate for this role will have work experience in wireless development, as well as a strong background in Radio development.

    You will:


    • Design, implement, and test IP blocks


    • Work with your team to create new designs and help integrate IP across different platforms


    • Collaborate with system architecture team on future designs


    • Support Design Verification team


    • Contribute to the scripts and CI/CD environments

    Desirable:


    • 5-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience


    • Knowledge of UVM/OVM


    • Working knowledge in MATLAB DSP implementation
