    Description

    Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering consulting company who is looking for a Senior Water Resource Engineer to join their team in Calgary.


    Further responsibilities include:

    • Collaborate with staff to identify and pursue project opportunities, ensuring the successful execution of diverse water resources projects.
    • Manage projects by preparing proposals, developing work plans, handling invoicing, processing change orders, and tracking budgets.
    • Engage with clients, regulators, and the public as required.
    • Pursue client relationships and competitive opportunities and lead diverse and innovative project teams
    • Manage the project delivery on a wide range of stormwater and water resources planning and design projects, including stormwater models and management plans, low impact development design, flood assessment and management plans.
    • Mentor and provide technical guidance to intermediate and junior team members.

    Ideal Candidate Requirements:

    • Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
    • Registered as a P.Eng with APEGA and/ or EGBC
    • 12+ years experience as a Water Resource Engineer
    • Available to travel as needed
    • 5+ years of experience with client and project management
    • 5+ years of experience managing and/or leading a team
