    Description
    Are you an accounting professional looking to join a supportive team that advocates for continuous learning and thrives on a culture of enjoyment where humour is welcomed?

    Our private sector client, an Ottawa-based CPA firm, urgently seeks a Junior Payroll Administrator to join their team on a hybrid basis (3 days a week on-site).

    2+ years of experience in full-cycle union and non-union Canadian payroll
    ~ College Diploma in Business Accounting, bookkeeping or related field
    ~ Working knowledge of at minimum one accounting software is required
    ~ Working knowledge of workflow management tools and Microsoft Suite are assets
    ~ Ability to manage a client portfolio for all client payroll needs
    ~ Manage bi-weekly payroll processing for multiple companies using online or desktop accounting/payroll software
    Follow up with clients as needed to maintain accurate payroll processes
    Provide monthly & quarterly reporting, including payroll, GST, HST, WSIB, EHT, etc.
    Comprehensive medical & dental coverage, plus RRSP contribution matching
