    About the Role:

    As the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be a key player in ensuring efficient financial management and decision-making. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy building strong partnerships across departments, getting hands-on in tasks, and honing a diverse set of skills necessary for career advancement.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles, collaborating closely with department heads and senior management.
    • Track budget performance, spot discrepancies, and propose necessary adjustments.
    • Create detailed financial reports, presentations, and analyses for the Board of Directors and Executive Management Team, offering valuable insights into financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
    • Cultivate relationships with key business partners to grasp cost activities, drivers, and profitability aspects.
    • Provide financial assistance in assessing new business strategies and endeavors, conducting profitability analyses and assessing investment business cases.
    • Support Investor Relations by preparing materials for AGF's quarterly earnings call and investor meetings as required.
    • Offer financial expertise for corporate development projects.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to the Senior Manager & Manager of FP&A.

    Your Qualifications:

    • CPA designation completed.
    • 7 to 10 years of management experience in FP&A.
    • Prior experience in the financial services sector highly preferred.
    • Proficiency with Adaptive Insights and Workday Financials considered an advantage.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Exceptional organizational and analytical capabilities, keen attention to detail, and a focus on continuous process enhancement.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
    • Effective relationship-building and interpersonal skills to engage with individuals at all organizational levels.
    • Ability to quickly adapt, learn, and manage multiple competing priorities independently.
    • Thrives in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
    • Excellent time management abilities.
