    Description

    As we look to expand our brand-led, luxury wine portfolio, it is imperative that we have the right expertise and team in place. The pace at which we are operating today is unprecedented and we only see this accelerating in the coming years.

    In the role of Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) you will support strategic decision making and financial planning across IWBC. This role entails developing and building complex financial models to support the quarterly and annual budgetary and reporting cycles, long-term forecasting requirements as well as creating critical financial reports and analyses for strategic initiatives. The Manager, FP&A produces regular documents and analyses as required by the business.

    This role can be based in Toronto or Kelowna.

    Accountabilities & Impact:

  • Ensure stakeholders have timely, detailed, and accurate monthly reports, variance analysis, and trend analysis for effective decision-making. ​
  • Summarize the financial performance of each initiative and provides monthly financial reviews for Senior Management Team meetings​.
  • Identify and explain underlying business trends, financial implications of strategic decisions, growth opportunities, and business risk​.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Maintain and update process documentation for areas of responsibility.

    • Skills & Experiences Needed:

  • Completed bachelor's degree in finance or a related field​
  • Analytical: A detail-oriented, organized, and analytical team player who is eager to learn​
  • Extensive knowledge of spreadsheets/excel and data reporting tools (ie: Tableau, Qlik, etc)​
  • Ability to translate data into useful information, and communicate key findings to non-finance stakeholders.
