    Description

    WE ARE URGENTLY HIRING WASTE COLLECTION OPERATORS TO START IMMEDIATELY NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NECESSARYAgilus is recruiting for multiple Garbage Loaders in the Waste Management sector in Ottawa, Ontario. Calling all general labourers, landscapers, construction workers, and physically fit people Do you enjoy working outdoors and are able to lift 65-75 lbs repetitively? Are you looking for a job with the potential for a long term career and advancement opportunities? Look no further A typical day:

    • Riding on the back of a garbage truck
    • Collect and load garbage, recyclables, leaf and yard waste, and green bin materials in garbage trucks 4-5 days a week
    • Must provide own safety vest, steel toe boots, gloves, safety glasses that are shatterproof
    • Must be able to repetitively lift up to 65 to 75 lbs
    • Arrive by 6:15 am to finish. (approximately 4:30 p.m, varies some days and can be up to 8:00 pm)
    You are:
    • Experienced in working physically demanding jobs (e.g. Landscaping, Construction, any job with heavy lifting)
    • Physical ability to climb to and from the operator's position and possess the manual dexterity and coordination to use both hands and feet simultaneously in order to operate a machine
    • Able to work 4-5 days a week for 10 hours per day and be reliable to show up for shifts
    • Understand and speak English
    • A strong team player with a good attitude
    • Able to lift 65-75 lbs repetitively
    • Able to work outdoors all day, regardless of weather conditions
