    We are currently seeking a dedicated Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Vancouver.     If you are the ideal Structural Design Engineer for us, you should have the following qualifications and capabilities:

    • 2-3 years' experience in structural engineering;
    • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering;
    • Experience in structural design involving concrete, wood, and steel;
    • Familiarity with the BC Building Code;
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
    • Professional Engineer registration or EIT with EGBC; and,
    • Ability to interpret drawing plans accurately.

    If this resonates with you, here is an overview of the responsibilities you can anticipate as a Structural Design Engineer:

    • Creating plans, conducting design, computer analysis, and reviewing drawings and calculations using engineering expertise and adhering to relevant codes and standards;
    • Examining reports, blueprints, tests, and other documentation to strategize and execute projects;
    • Employing engineering and design software to generate documentation and calculations;
    • Performing field assessments and structural evaluations; and,
    • Assessing shop drawings, contractor requests, and RFIs.

    The salary range for this position is $75,000-90,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
