To deliver on our digital campus of tomorrow, we are moving forward with a Digital Student Experience (DSX) initiative to deliver on three of our Student Experience actions: Enterprise Web Strategy, Enrolment and Admissions Rethinking, and Digital Identity.

Position Title: S enior Application Engineer- Application Administrator – Enrolment and Admissions Rethinking

Hours: 40 hours per week

Faculty/Department : Enterprise Web Strategy, Enrolment and Admissions Rethinking, and Digital Identity.

Campus/Location: North Campus; Hybrid

Payband/Hourly Rate: Payband L / $ $55.84

What you will do:

Reporting to the Technology Product Owner of the Enrolment and Admissions Rethinking Initiative, the Application Administrator is responsible for managing configurations, customizations, data quality and security, user support, system upgrades, and documentation of the Salesforce applications and other project-based actions required to achieve Humber's business outcomes. In partnership with the Technical Lead and the Technology Product Owner, they will support platform users by ensuring an optimally performing system and providing ongoing support and training to end users.

Key responsibilities:

Administration and Product Management

• User management, including maintaining profiles, users, security settings, data-sharing rules
• Maintain and customize cloud solutions including creating custom objects, fields, formulas, validation, workflows and processes and automation of processes
• Configure and manage third-party applications
• Build reports, dashboards, and workflows based on consultation with the business
• Create and maintain documentation for the system, business requirements, training and provide user training
• Participate in periodic business process reviews and analyses
• Evolve the infrastructure through a learner mindset and designer mindset
• Plan for upgrades, seasonal releases and long-term projects, including associated impact analysis and testing
• Ensure the applications are resilient and meet Humber's business continuity needs
• Monitor and measure operational effectiveness and user adoption
• Perform other required operational support and administrative activities to ensure the solution's optimal functions

Q ualifications and Experience:

Education

Three (3) year Degree, or equivalent, in a computer-related area and continued education in current Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management Science, Business or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience in similar positions.
• Knowledge of Drupal content management systems and platforms.
• Any previous experience with the following is an asset and should be highlighted in your application:
  • Digital transformation initiatives, programs, and complex implementation projects. (i.e., Content Management System, Digital Asset Management , Customer Data Platform, Marketing Automation, Artificial Intelligence)

Skills

• Hands-on experience in front-end templating
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS
• ITIL knowledge
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Able to assess complex issues and determine optimal solutions across technology domains
• Proven ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy, strong leadership, and attention to detail.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new concepts/processes.
• Able to analyze data, generate meaningful insights, and provide analytics on usage and platform performance, that would drive actionable insights from the business and product owner.
• Able to navigate the organization and influence through indirect leadership and relationships.
