    Description

    We are seeking a Coastal Engineer Senior Practice Leader to add technical and project management expertise to our growing business throughout North America.

    Project management and technical lead for coastal engineering projects related to shoreline protection, flood mitigation and resiliency, marine structures, dredging, and waterfront development projects.

    Manage projects and staff, including providing technical leadership and oversight, risk management, and mentoring.
    Work closely with coastal engineering and ecological staff in other GEI offices.
    Assist in recruiting and training additional staff.
    Overnight travel may be required; S. degree in Civil, Marine or Coastal Engineering or related field.

    20 + years progressive experience in coastal engineering and planning with at least 10+ years in a project management and business development role.

    Recognized for technical excellence and development of client-focused, creative and practical solutions.
    Demonstrated ability to support Federal, State/Provincial and local agency and private development projects throughout North America.
    Professional Engineering license required.
