- Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for service requirements.
- Coordinate with equipment owners for servicing and repair authorizations when necessary.
- Service and repair equipment both in the workshop and on-site for customers.
- Refurbish and rebuild components as needed for equipment, engine, and hydraulic repairs.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers.
- Report equipment service needs to Branch Supervisor/Manager when necessary.
- Document work completed and fill out service-related paperwork.
- Maintain and update service records.
- Complete warranty information and work orders.
- Participate in manufacturer and in-house service training sessions.
- Take part in mandatory Health & Safety Training.
- Adhere to Health & Safety program and practices.
- Perform daily tasks in a manner that promotes a safe work environment.
- Utilize online support from manufacturers.
- Carry out housekeeping duties.
- Maintain a professional company image consistently.
- Meet Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessment requirements when necessary.
- Perform tests on electrical components, including energized components and electrical fields, as needed.
- Education: Possession of a Trade certification, Journeyman Red Seal, and/or current enrollment in a related Provincial Apprenticeship program.
- Work Experience: 2-3 years
- Knowledge: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with customers; outstanding customer service skills; demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.

The Opportunity
Responsible for delivering top-notch work, consistent service, and technical expertise to customers. Carries out all tasks related to testing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing heavy equipment, transmissions, engines (gas and diesel), and engine parts in the workshop.
