- Réalise de la conception d'outil CAD et des dessins de détail utilisé pour la fabrication.
- Apporte les corrections aux dessins, lorsque nécessaire.
- Utilise, consulte des procédures, instructions techniques, outils, matériaux et/ou équipements nouveaux afin de rencontrer les besoins du client.
- Peu se fier à son expérience et son jugement afin de planifier et accomplir certains objectifs et tâches.
- Concevoir de l'outillage avec ou sans l'aide de référence
- Capacité de travailler en équipe
- Veille à bien comprendre les besoins des clients, en vue de répondre par des solutions appropriées et utiles et s'assure d'avoir en main les spécifications ou demandes particulières nécessaires à la réalisation des projets.
- Effectue des recherches de composantes (Internet, catalogues...), lorsque nécessaire.
- Effectue des recommandations techniques, lorsque nécessaire, auprès des chargés de projets, en vue d'optimiser les produits conçus.
- Assure le support nécessaire aux chargés de projets.
- Effectue la validation des dessins de conception, des dessins de détails avec les chargés de projets.
- Complète les différentes formations nécessaires dans les délais exigés.
- Diplôme Collégial et/ou Baccalauréat en Génie mécanique avec au minimum 5 ans d'expérience pertinente dans le domaine de la conception de l'outillage ou similaire.
- Maitrise du logiciel Catia V5
- Connaissance approfondie de la norme ASME Y14.5M
- Maîtrise de la Suite Microsoft Office
- Under minimal supervision, performs varied and complex tooling design tasks
- Performs CAD tool design and detail drawings used in manufacturing.
- Makes corrections to drawings when necessary.
- Uses, consults new procedures, technical instructions, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet customer needs.
- Little reliance on experience and judgment to plan and complete certain objectives and tasks.
- Design tooling with or without reference
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ensures a clear understanding of customer needs, with a view to responding with appropriate and useful solutions and ensures that specific specifications or requests are in hand for the realization of projects.
- Performs component searches (Internet, catalogues, etc.), when necessary.
- Makes technical recommendations, when necessary, to project managers to optimize products.
- Provides support to project managers.
- Validates design drawings, detail drawings with project managers.
- Completes the various required training within the required timeframe.
- College Diploma and/or Baccalaureate in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of tooling design or similar.
- Proficiency with Catia V5 software
- Thorough knowledge of ASME Y14.5M
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
